UK Visa Requirements Revised
UK has introduced ETA system (Electronic Travel Authorization) to pre-screen travelers from visa-exempt countries before arrival.
Countries which come under ETA system:
USA
Canada
New Zealand
South Korea
Singapore
Israel
Countries which are exempted for ETA:
- British & Ireland Citizen
- Individuals having UK visa
- UK residency permit
What is the reason for this ETA system?
ETA System is introduced to have proper border control and streamline the entry process for visitors. ETA id valid for multiple visits over two years or until the passport expires
