TIPS TO MANAGE YOUR MONEY IN ABROAD

Earning money is difficult we all agree this statement. but do you agree with me if I say managing the money is more difficult?

Some say yes and some say no. those who say yes are with the experience and those who say no needs explanation especially when you are going to study abroad with estimated budget and you have to manage every expenses with that money. I know, you are in new place and you need to explore everything from food to clothing from museum to market everything you want to see relish and enjoy. You can do that with these tips. Let’s get started

Local bank account: First and main thing is you need to create a local bank account and transfer your money in it. So that each time you no need to pay exchange charges.

Understand the budget: You need to plan your budget ahead. Check your tuition fees and keep it aside. And rest is in your hand that is your expenses. You can try to manage with some cuttings and sharing. I will guide you.

Use public transport: If you are supposed to go to far places then instead of ola and other apps try using public transport as it will be budget friendly and you can make more friends. Isn’t it a great idea!! 🤓

Share rooms: Everyone needs a place to stay comfortably. And we all will get two options about staying. You can stay alone in a smaller room or you with few friends can share room. If you stay alone then all the expenses will be on your shoulders. If in the case you share the stay with friends’ expenses will be divided. This will help in saving some more money. 💷

Learn to cook: I know it is tough to make time for cooking while studying but if you are 5 friends staying, then each one can prepare one day 🫕 and during weekends explore local food 🥪 and you’re missing “GHAR KA KHANA” 🍛 will be fulfilled. And pocket friendly too. Imagine you eating outside food all day long your pocket and health both will be affected. Let’s be little conscious towards stomach and pocket simultaneously💸.

Cut in telephone bills: I didn’t mean to be rude but I want to tell you to be smart. Try using Wi-Fi calls when you get free public wifi and make video call to your loved ones and be more near to them and it will be budget friendly as well.

Part time jobs: Most of the students are doing part time jobs in abroad to add extra money and manage stability in expenses and incomes and reduce burden on sponsors to add more money if needed. These part-time jobs are like real life experience to know how actual life will be after education. try it out.

used books: you need books to study I agree with you but let me say you something. If you can get same books for lesser price, you will buy right? Considering this strategy you can buy second hand books for reference. Well maintained books will be available and you can buy them at lesser than half price.

Joining the library: I know only one text book is not enough to learn one module you need knowledge from everywhere. So instead of buying more books I have an easy and hassle-free option. Get library membership card as it will be helpful for you to read in your room at comfort and return within due date. You can take notes if want. Isn’t it easy and simple.

Student id card: It is a key to earn discounts in many abroad countries you can visit food court or bookshop and many shopping centres and buy with great discount with some student id cards.

Sale shopping: We all need many things in course of time, we cant survive with what all we brought from home country. but you are under budget control. how can you buy?? I’ve an idea!! What’s hurry you can wait for bigger sale period and buy at that time you can get high quality goods and clothes and other accessories at lesser price. Isn’t it helpful!!!

Plan ahead: You are missing your home and you know you will be getting semester holidays in a month or two. Then plan your India visit and check flight charges. You are aware of the secret right that flight charges will be less if we plan ahead and book earlier. And you can look for nearest sales and grab gifts for loved one’s and chocolates of course for kids in family.
